New football season 2017/2018

After the Oystons were found guilty of asset stripping the football club, Blackpool fans must have been having a wry chuckle at the appointed referee for tomorrow's game against Portsmouth.

His name?

Ben Toner.....

Fortunately, FA chiefs have recognised the spooky coincidence & replaced the man in black for this game.

The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly coloured, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride."

Losing 3-1 at home, it’s tough being a Killie supporter sometimes.

As to the Toon, I did warn anyone who’d listen that some lucky points against average teams wasn’t a new dawn when the players are barely good enough for the lower end of the Premiership.

Let’s just hope the takeover goes through.

What's the difference between Everton and the Titanic?

The Titanic showed up at Southampton before eventually going down.

A bit of character to get back to 2 - 2 but we need that takeover and I wouldn't be surprised to be in a relegation scrap regardless.

From the NUFC site:

Loan lads:

Stu off the mark

Stuart Findlay (Kilmarnock)

The on-loan defender headed home the first goal of his senior career in what was his 70th competitive game, putting Killie 1-0 up at St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

He was injured in scoring but recovered to complete the full 90 minutes in what was a 2-1 win for his side - a scoreline that left them outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

Maybe we should ask for him back...

Goal of the season....

I think you're being a bit harsh, he got up well and it was on target.

Truthfully, you can tell it's not the greatest standard of football and a few howlers along the way, including from the ref...

Not terribly well attended either by the look of it.

Still, an away win for the mighty Killie!

Bang! And the debt is gone!
