The World Cup

Bollocks to that, dear God, won't somebody please think of the caravans...

Tell you what though, I was searching through some stuff in the cupboard and found my England t-shirt for the 2002 Seoul World Cup. England were knocked out by Brazil in the quarter finals. Should I wear it? It appears to have shrunk though.

Having said that I totally look like an Engerluun supporter when wearing it. Or Winnie the Pooh.

Bless him.
He's young enough to have lots of World Cups and Euro's to look forward to.

Good point.
She won't have to get two under fives down to Cornwall on her own (Jeezus!).

England did well to get as far as they did. If you ever supported Wales at rugby you'd be as good as me at such clutching of straws.

They got exactly where they should have got to given the draw that they had.
It gave the country (the English part) a lift though, and made people happy.

BBC Sports Personality Team on the year I reckon.

The manager's speech, after the match, was just a string of clichés.

As someone who was at the game in 96 I think it’s only right that the next generation suffer a bit too...

Roy Keane is a complete and utter fucking prick.
Of course, everybody knows that anyway.

That’s very similar to what my hubby said. I wanted them to win for him, he’ll be so disappointed

Oh he's right, but he's still a dick.
Nobody wants to hear his 'honesty' just after getting knocked out of the world cup

Switched on the TV this morning and it happened to be on ITV. Piers Morgan and Co were asking each other whether England were Winners or Losers.

Sadly, no knighthood or sainthood for Gareth. Still, Qatar.

Really?
Shouldn't she be apologising in tears to the teams that England defeated?
