Grand Prix Disaster!

Grand Prix Disaster!

Postby turnipsock » April 15th, 2018, 8:52 pm

I spent the day at the Doune Hillclimb and came home to watch the Grand Prix on the channel 4 iplayer. It seems like channel 4 have stopped their iplayer on freesat ... why wasn't I told about this? It happened in February.

So now I have missed an entire Grand Prix with no way of watching it.

Can't you watch it - or at least the main highlights - here?

I know! It’s the best way I know of getting a snooze if there’s no snooker on.

I think you have to be engaged with F1 to be able to enjoy it as a casual observer.

The Grand Prix Gods were 'avin a laff at Vettel's expense yesterday.

We can't get the internet on the telly, only youtube.

I only really watch it for the incidents though there were plenty at Doune. On Saturday we lost 15 cars due to crashes and breakdowns, one serious. The track was very slippy. On Sunday one of the old cars managed roll throwing the driver clear. These old cars aren't required to have seatbelts or rollover bars. So that was another bleeding helicopter.
