Did you know there was a big vote in the EU parliament yesterday on the freedom of the internet?

http://www.alphr.com/politics/1009470/a ... -copyright

The Kippers and others were able to block it for the time being, Gerald explains how they can only block the dictators for a while.

So you think this is the EU equivalent of Stukas over France?

You don't think the likes of Google are as much (if not more) of an 'Empire' than the EU?

There are things wrong with the leglislation and, just to remind you, it was rejected. Which Empire did you have in mind where you could reject policy on a vote?

When is Google getting its own Army/Stukas Maxo? <lol>

It isn't - it doesn't need them - that's the point.

It doesn't need them to do what? It's just a search engine for gawds sake. <lol>

That you believe that is exactly the point.

What devious plan do you think Google has then Maxo? A Clarke skill saw keeps popping up on my web pages, what do you read into that other than I think my Makita is on its last knockings. <lol>

Welcome to the modern world, Frank, something you obviously don't recognise:

I Googled 'Google Influence' <lol>

Obviously Google are not very good at keeping their cunning plan secret Maxo. <lol>

Harry Cole

Harry Cole Retweeted James O'Brien

Sneer sneer sneer. 400,000 Brits rely on processed food industry for a job and James - who earns ten times most of them - wants you to laugh at sensible measures put in place to protect them.

Mind you Fat 'Arry needn't worry about starving to death, he's got plenty of reserves to keep him going for a while.

Henry Newman
@HenryNewman

"Yesterday plans were afoot to dismember the Brexit department, taking functions away from new Secretary of State @DominicRaab & leaving him responsible only really for domestic preparations. That’s not right decision & they should be urgently reconsidered"

"It’s all part of the plan. Robbins et al blocked the publication of the White Paper from at least March because 1) they’d lose policy control and 2) Ipso facto it’s contents might not be the Hotel California Brexit they delivered at Chequers"

Apparently Tonbridge Wells A&E has invoked black alert as it's been overwhelmed by aneurysms from the Angry of the town.

No Frank?

Must be some exciting speedway on.

In the meantime the ERGers are doing their best to let Jerry in.

Watchiing the football.

Woofy top scored in the Swedish SGP last Saturday but was beaten in the final by Poland's Magic but went 2 points more ahead (11) of Fast Freddy in the World Championship.

Final

1 Maciej Janowski

2 Fredrik Lindgren

3 Bartosz Zmarzlik

4 Tai Woffinden

Tai nearly took Magic on the first corner but Magic cut him off into the fence and the other two went through. I thought it was an omen for tonight at the time.

The good news is that it looks like Kenedey is signing back on loan for the Toon.

Should have taken JonJo, Gareth.

Still, Stephen won’t be busted out . <lol>

Saturday week is the big one, Cardiff SGP, young Magic won it last year. We will have three riders, Tai, Craig Cook and Robert Lambert of the King's Lynn Stars who partnered Tai in the World Team final, he got the Wild Card for Cardiff by winning the British Championship at Belle Vue a couple of weeks back.

I keep telling you, Jerry’s lining up to be PM. He’ll take us out of Europe if he doesn’t listen to the traitors in his own party!

Unless it's politically expedient to have it at a time that suits the incumbent Prime Minister

It would require a two thirds majority in the House, unlikely if Jerry was way ahead in the polls.
JRM as leader would secure 4 million Kipper votes for a start.
