There were discussions renaming it the JudaeoChristianCaucasianvision song contest but it's length wouldn't fit on the screen.

Why is it difficult and why is it the same questions every year.

The Eurovision Song contest is for members of the European Broadcasting Union.

Nothing to do with the EU. Why people think that but are not surprised by Russia and Azerbaijan being involved.

Poor security, that should never have happened. I thought her performance got better after she was handed another mic but the damage was mostly done on Friday during rehearsal, that's when the juries get to see it and vote.

I fancied Cyprus, especially as they had never won before. But hey ho Israel won with a daft eurovision song, good

I half-heard an explanation as to Australia's involvement. They have been part of some international televisual cooperative for many years and in recognition of this they were given a place in Eurovision a couple of years ago. Their inclusion was so well received that it has been extended.

Does this mean that Liverpool will still be allowed to play in the European Cup next year?

Despite the title, I don't think it's about the songs.

Which was apt as she looks like a chicken on helium
