Eurovisiom 2026 - Look Mum, No Points

Post by Phillip Phlopp » Tue Feb 17, 2026 10:25 am

The UK in its infinite wisdom and with finger tightly pressed on the pulse of transnational popular music has handed the mantle of our entry on to a YouTuber and experimental singer-songwriter called Look Mum No Computer.

How does he get onto YouTube without a computer?
I know a man who taught his dog to play the trumpet on the London Underground.
He went from Barking to Tooting in an hour.

Good point, well made.

In fact that point you made will probably exceed Look Mum No Computer's haul at Eurovision.

That riposte is as good as "I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is – neither have you."

Once again Middle of the Road are overlooked.
A wanker AND a pansy apparently.

They won't feel very chirpy chirpy cheep cheep about that, mark my words!

Rylan and Scott Mills have apparently been beside themselves and were the probable cause of the Beeb having to announce who they'd picked.

I suppose we have to reserve judgment until we hear it, but it doesn't bode well. I don't know about chirpy chirpy, but it had better be cheap.

All 35 songs, summarised in seventeen and a half minutes. Even that's too much.

I hope that you are all watching the semi finals.
Sweden was sparky.

I heard our entry on Sunday, and didn't realise what it was.

German?
For the British entry?

Was Brexit for nothing?

I quite liked it though.

I have a box under my bed reserved for the fucks I give about this event. It is empty.
Odd thing, ain't it... you meet people one at a time, they seem decent, they got brains that work, and then they get together and you hear the voice of the people. And it snarls.

Oh, I know that you're joshing!
You will be in front of the telly in your feather boa waving your union flag on Saturday (or is it Friday?).
